Yeah, I really don't like the people who say one thing and then act the other way. I hated myself for a long time b/c of that. I did it. But I am changing from that way. I don't act nearly that way any more. At least not that I can tell.

Did you guys know that Revelation is the only book of the Bible that for anyone who reads it will be blessed? My bible teacher, Mrs. Horning, told me and I was like WOW!

Ask for the verse/passage in The Revelation where we can read this...I'm curious.

Okay I can do that. Revelation 1:3 "Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are thos who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near." The Revelation 22:18-19 "I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book."

I should read Revelation again. My church went through one time but I never did quite understand it. I believe this is a hard book to understand.
YOu know Karin maybe for wenesday night bible studies we should study the book of revelation. I think that would be a good idea. But hey that's my option.

Yea I think that is a good idea too.
I have a thought about the Bible but it's jumping all the way to the beginning of Genesis. God made Adam and Eve and they had childeren. But who do the children of Adam and Eve marry to start the generations? They're brothers and sisters? Or did God make other people but it's just not mentioned in the Bible?
I've always wondered about that....anybody have a thought about it?

i think they did marry their own brothers and sisters... b/c back then it didn't matter like it does today b/c their genes were more perfect and all the diseases and gene mutations we have today didn't exist back then. (they would've had perfectly normal children) That's why as more people started populating the earth, God told them to stop intermarriage b/c it was no longer possible to have children w/ a close relation (w/o them being midgets or having some mutation)... if that makes sense...

I think for Bible studies we should have more group discussions about church issues, spiritual stuff, and other things that would get us thinking more. But maybe that won't work cuz everyone from CCS will just talk about what mrs. horning says and then Jeff will talk for 20 minutes and that would be it.
