what do you mean when you say "Mrs. Horning says...." Do you not like here? Cause everything she says is true unless it is her opinion and then she says it's her opinion. And if it is not her opinion she backs it up with Bible verses/referrences.

I'm just saying that everyone from her classes always talk about her theories on everything. I think its a good thing to have more than one Bible teacher. That way you can get a variety of theories and different teaching styles. I've had 3 different Bible teachers in high school and each one was very different from the others. I'm not saying Mrs. Horning is wrong or anything. She's probably usually right. One teacher isn't better than another unless they are actually wrong about something but its still good to have a mix.

sometimes. But I have seen other bible teachers and they don't push me like Mrs. Horning does and I like Mrs. Horning's style. But I can see where you are coming from now.

yea i agree with both of you. It's good to have a teacher that really pushes and challenges you and really teaches you a lot of things but it's probably also good to have a different perspective on some things because sometimes someone might be wrong on something even if they really think they're right. But I guess that's why it's good to also have the Sunday School teachers and Youth group is for. So if you think something's not right you can ask someone else what they think.

okay. Does anyone know where it says it in the bible "in the world not of the world."? Something like you are to be in the world not of the world.

You could be thinking of Romans 12:2 "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world but be transformed be the renewing of your mind" I'm not sure though

i always took that verse to mean that we are supposed to be a christian example to the world without becoming like them. in other words reach out to the lost, but don't start doing their sins to do so. it is a tricky situation sometimes.

Hey I have a prayer request. My cousin's wife died last sunday of cancer. Now my cousin is left a single parent with three young sons. The oldest is 5, middle is 3, and the youngest is 1. So if you could remember them that would be great. Plus they have to move out of their house.
