I was thinking of starting a new thread for quite a while but didn't have the oportunity...Now it's a good time to use this topic as a special place for prayer requests, talk about answered prayers...talk to God.

Okay this is great news. My grandpa asked to come home tomorrow but the hospital wants to hold him til Thursday so hopefully he will be coming home on Thursday. Also this was so cool when my dad told me this story. The other day my dad knew my grandpa wasn't feeling the greatest. He was feeling sick in the stomach and well my dad prayed that he would feel better and in a little while my uncle Greg called...and guess what he had to say. My grandpa was feeling better he was sitting up and talking (I think that's what my dad said) and he had ate something to. So this is really good new. Thank God!!! I will be so excited to have my grandpa home again. It's somewhat weird not having right next door to me and at least seeing him once a day. Praise God!!! |

Okay, so I have another pray request. A friend from school, Becky Cressman, was taken to the emergency room today because she hasn't been feeling well that last couple of days and well they are not exactly sure what's wrong. (Did i get that right Karin?) So if you guys could remember her. |

yeah pretty much, but we wasn't taken to the ER for an emergency, it was just the best way to get the help she needs. they think it might be a stomach alcer or her gall bladder. i don't think it is anything really serious, but i guess we will find out.

So we found out more about our friend Becky and well she was having some test done on her today. And when she eats food it makes her feel even worse. Praise God my grandpa came home yesterday. So that is great news. |

Hey if you guys could remember me today. I have a quiz match and well we will most likely be going up against hard teams. Such as Pequea (and Karin and Emily know what I mean). It's my last year and I want to do well. So if you guys could pray for me and my team. That would greatly appreciated. Oh good news. Yes my grandpa is home. yippy! but even better. He walking around, my parents said he looks happier and everything like that since he's been home. But remember him in your prayers. Thanks. |

the doctors said that what Becky has is most likely caused by stress... like a stomach ulcer or something... but they don't know if that is the only reason that it's happening or if stress simply makes her problem worse

Great news. My mom had gone to the doctors to get some tests done...because on her side of the family cancer has been a problem with the women. Well we got the test results back and she doesn't have it. Which is really good. Praise God. |

hey if you guys could pray for zack saint's family that would be great. (for those of you who don't know, zack saint was a great Christian guy from around here who died of leukemia last friday.) he was only 22, i think, and i know this is a tough time for his family.
