WHOA!!! YOu know English, Romanian, and you have been learning french for 11 yrs. WHAT!? See you just proved my point that you guys are smarter than we are. Or at least are more intelligent in other languages. Okay I am going to say this. The US is stupid b/c they don't have us learn a second language. We only get two years of spanish and then the rest is opitional.

well...as far as I know...u do spanish like we do english but it depends on the school. This is my 7th year of German and I can`t speak a thing but can read and understand.
if it makes you feel better, you are far more batter in other things than we are

I think we do not know languages because there is really no reason to. english is the only language we need here and if we go to any of the countries bordering the US, they all speak english. in europe the countries are much close together and they all speak different languages. and the fact that americans in general are to lazy to learn another language doesn't help much! but to really learn another language you have to use it and we have no were to use it, everyone speaks english around us! anyway, that was a long dissertation about basically nothing!

oh thanks. But I admit. I am one of the stupid ones when it comes to book smarts. dissertation: an extended usually written treatment of a subject sort of like a detour but in written form.
